Guided By Voices

Is there anybody out there in the "serious" journamalism industry who can give even a half-assed reason why the ravings of this shithouse rat are considered remotely newsworthy? Jesus Christ, this is one step removed from reporting what some crazy fuck with a sandwich board is ranting on the street.

Evangelical broadcaster Pat Robertson said Tuesday that God has told him that a terrorist attack on the United States would cause a "mass killing" late in 2007.

"I'm not necessarily saying it's going to be nuclear," he said during his news-and-talk television show "The 700 Club" on the Christian Broadcasting Network.

"The Lord didn't say nuclear. But I do believe it will be something like that."

That's how you know it's bullshit. Everyone knows that He pronounces it "nucular". That's where the Bumpkin-in-Chief picked it up.

Seriously. Who are the drooling morons keeping this guy in business, and why are they allowed to have money?

  1. This is in reference to a comment you made on Tbogg's blog but...

"vagina dentata" was an early Police album.

That's fuckin' funny. I'm still wiping the vodka off my monitor.

  2. Cool. I've been saving that one for a special occasion, though I do encourage vodka conservation, as well as consumption.

That van der Loon fella is a real piece of work, ain't he?
