Grumpy Old Men

This must be the part where they make 'murka great again:

The television program “Inside Edition” said it interviewed McGraw after the incident and asked him if he liked the rally.

According to the video posted online by the program (http://goo.gl/wFtXIl), he responded: “You bet I liked it ... knocking the hell out of that big mouth.”

The video shows the man going on to say: “Yes, he deserved it. The next time we see him, we might have to kill him. We don’t know who he is. He might be with a terrorist organization.”

After detectives reviewed the video, McGraw was also charged with communicating threats.

The man who was punched, Rakeem Jones, told The Associated Press that he and others went to the event as observers, not protesters. He says someone swore at one of their group, and by the time they tried to object, the police were escorting him out.

Or maybe it's the part where Trump's campaign manager thugs out on a reporter, because he thought she might ask Hair Fuhrer a question that hadn't been pre-approved. I can't believe that in a gaggle of reporters, someone didn't catch a video of that.

Quite a few people have been predicting this for some time, and now it's happening -- the violence, the threats, the clamping down on free speech. It's only a mater of time before someone gets seriously injured or killed, maybe a rally, maybe followed home from a rally. The fucktard commenters on the conservabot sites seem to think that peaceful protesters deserve the treatment they're getting. Well, they have the right to show up at Hillary or Bernie rallies and speak their mind. They may get escorted out, but they should not be assaulted. For people who like to flash their Constitution boner like a drunk on the subway, they sure don't seem to have much use for the First Amendment.

Trump himself has been enabling this, of course, with his tough talk about how things useta be in the good ol' days and such like. Hell, why not just whistle Dixie into the microphone while the stinking hippies and coloreds are being shoved around and sucker-punched? These people, like their object of worship, are turning out to be even worse than we thought they were -- ignorant, stupid, bigoted, chickenshit, probably other, worse things. These are the sort of people that livestock hide from.

They can't stand that the world don't want the buggy whips they useta make, but they refuse to get on the internets to learn a new skill, preferring to marinate in their toxic echo chambers of lies and hate. And the buggy whip factory is never coming back. So you see the dilemma.

It's bad enough watching these putrid shitshows on the YouTube, I cannot possibly imagine actually attending one. Self-reinforcing lies, smears, meaningless jabber, punctuated by bonding rituals and pre-screened testimonials from the gibbering crowd. This is rapidly turning into a cult. Maybe someone can convince them to eat the applesauce and ride the comet.
