Inherit The Windbag

Over the last few months, I have received several mild, well-intended criticisms from readers remarking as to my frequent prolixity.

On the one hand, I tend to believe that the song generally has the amount of notes it requires, not too many nor too few. On the other hand, I think may they have a point.

There are, in fact, only so many notes the ear can hear in the course of an evening.

I believe I'm right in saying that, aren't I, Court Composer?
