I'm something of a PS2 Madden aficionado; the only reason I didn't enter the national tournament last year is because the nearest one, in San Francisco, was the day after Thanksgiving.
After reading this brief preview of this year's edition, I have just one question: Who does Tom Brady have to fuck to get on the cover of this motherfucker? Believe me, it's a big deal among NFL fans and Madden franchise fans. Donovan McNabb is great quarterback and seems like an excellent guy, but Brady has helmed the team which won three of the last four Super Bowls.
Eh. The Patriots do seem to be all about team unity over individuality, so maybe Brady politely declined to be individually enshrined, as it were, which makes him a class act. In which case, EA Sports should just find a way to put the entire team on the cover.
Back to your regularly scheduled political rants, just as soon as I carve the Pats' Cover 3 zone on Madden 2005.
