Weekend Poll

As a quick diversion from the summer heat, we're asking this musical question, in the spirit of Grover Norquist's eternal quest to put Reagan on the dime:

If George W. Bush were to be put on a unit of currency, what should it be?

[Note: you are not limited to actual units of US currency; thus, for example, "$3 bill" is acceptable. Anything goes.]

Results on Monday. Have an Arbusto weekend.

The penny.

Lincoln's already got a stint on the $5 note, and heaven knows the 1-cent coin is more annoying than useful nine-tenths of the time.

Plus, who could pass up the opportunity to coin the phrase "to spend a Dubya"?

Rather than a coin or a bill, how about the check stock for Social Security payments? With the Dubya thumbing his nose?

Usurious credit card debt- as in, 'Man, I got my bill this month and I am in Dubya up to my ass'.

The idea of a picture of Bush thumbing his nose on social security checks is good.

Better yet, instead of thumbing his nose one hand should show how high he can count by the bent position of his thumb and fingers except his middle finger saluting the seniors.

The ten-million-dollar coin, or "freedom penny," which Chinese-made bubble-gum vending machines will require two of to deliver a piece of candy in the year 2020.
