Well, we came across something even better. If you Google the phrase cultural metaphor (again, sans quotes), the legendary post Riffs On Football As Cultural Metaphor comes up third out of a declared 1,840,000 possiblities.
Now, I realize that Google's estimations of search possibilities are frequently somewhat exaggerated, and I have no idea as to exactly how they are ranking a blog post above university think pieces, but it's still pretty fucking cool.
